IV Therapy

Clinically administered.
Nurse-led.

IV therapy at Sisä is a registered nurse-administered health service. Every infusion is conducted under medical oversight, with a clinical assessment before treatment to confirm suitability. This is not wellness. This is healthcare.

intravenous therapy

Direct delivery. No intermediaries.

IV therapy delivers fluids and nutrients directly into the bloodstream via an intravenous line. Because the infusion bypasses the digestive system entirely, it is administered by a registered healthcare professional under medical oversight. At Sisä, IV therapy is one part of a broader clinical approach to how you feel and function. It is not a standalone product you select off a shelf. Before any infusion, our registered nurses conduct a full clinical assessment to confirm suitability, review your health history, and identify the right protocol for your needs. Three infusion protocols are available at the clinic. Each is prescribed and overseen by a medical practitioner. Your nurse will guide you through which is appropriate based on your assessment.

Skin Health Support

Sisä Radiate

Designed around skin health, this protocol is frequently paired with laser or skin treatment visits. It supports your body during periods of clinical skin intervention and forms part of a treatment plan rather than a standalone experience. Commonly chosen before or after procedures including Alma Hybrid, Morpheus8, and Lumecca IPL.

the process

What happens from booking to aftercare.

01

Book online

Select IV therapy from the booking portal. You will be asked to complete a pre-treatment health intake form before your appointment. This ensures your nurse has all the information required to conduct a thorough assessment.

02

Clinical assessment

On arrival, your Registered Nurse will review your health intake and conduct a clinical assessment. Suitability is confirmed at this point, and your nurse will advise on the appropriate protocol. If IV therapy is not suitable for you on the day, your nurse will explain why and discuss alternatives.

03

Your Infusion

Your infusion is administered by a Registered Nurse in a private treatment room. The cannula is placed, the line is confirmed, and the infusion runs for approximately 30 minutes. Your nurse remains accessible throughout.

04

Aftercare Guidance

Before you leave, your nurse will provide post-treatment guidance and answer any questions. For clients combining IV therapy with a skin treatment, the scheduling of both is coordinated by the clinical team to ensure the best outcome.

suitability

Who it suits. And who should wait.

IV therapy is appropriate for many clients, but it is not suitable for everyone. Clinical assessment is mandatory before your first treatment, without exception.

why Sisä

The clinical standard behind every infusion.

Registered Nurse administered

Every infusion at Sisä is administered by a Registered Nurse. IV therapy is a clinical procedure and is treated as one. Our nurses are trained in IV cannulation and vascular access, and operate under standing medical oversight at all times.

Medical practitioner oversight

All protocols at Sisä are prescribed and overseen by a medical practitioner. This is not a wellness add-on. Every treatment decision is made within a clinical governance framework that prioritises your safety above all else.

Hospital-grade infection control

Our clinic Director holds specialist Infection Control Coordinator qualifications from a 52-bed acute care setting. Sterile technique, single-use equipment, and full clinical protocols are applied to every IV treatment at Sisä, without exception.

Safety and Oversight

A note from our clinical team

IV therapy is a clinical procedure. We treat it like one.

IV therapy involves the direct delivery of fluids into your bloodstream. At Sisä, this means a mandatory pre-treatment health assessment, a formal prescription pathway, and Registered Nurse administration in a clinical setting. We do not offer walk-in infusions, IV therapy as a promotional add-on, or treatments without a completed health intake and nurse assessment. If you arrive for treatment and your nurse determines IV therapy is not appropriate for you on the day, your appointment will be modified or rescheduled. Your safety is the only variable that matters. If you have questions about whether IV therapy is appropriate for your health circumstances, contact the clinic ahead of your booking. Our nurses are happy to have that conversation with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

No referral is required. You can book directly online. A pre-treatment health intake form is completed prior to your appointment, and your Registered Nurse will conduct a full clinical assessment on arrival before treatment proceeds.

The infusion itself runs for approximately 30 minutes. Allow additional time for your pre-treatment assessment with your nurse, particularly at your first visit. Most clients are with us for 45 to 60 minutes in total on their first appointment.

Yes. Many clients at Sisä schedule IV therapy alongside laser or skin treatments. The clinical team will coordinate your appointment sequence to ensure both treatments are administered appropriately and safely on the same visit where applicable.

Treatment frequency is determined by your nurse in consultation with your health history and the protocol prescribed for you. There is no standard universal frequency. Your nurse will provide guidance at your appointment and will flag if more frequent treatment than recommended is not clinically appropriate.

IV therapy is a clinical procedure with inherent considerations, which is exactly why it must be administered by a Registered Nurse under medical oversight. At Sisä, every safeguard is in place. Your health intake, clinical assessment, and sterile technique are non-negotiable parts of every treatment.

If your nurse determines at assessment that IV therapy is not appropriate for you on the day, she will explain why clearly and discuss what alternatives or next steps may be appropriate. We will never proceed with treatment when a clinical concern has been identified.

start with a consult

Your skin journey starts with a conversation.

A 30-minute skin consult with one of our Registered Nurses is the starting point for every new client at Sisä. It is the place where your history, goals, and current skin health are assessed, and a treatment plan is built around you.
